Explore MoodMe’s Advanced Emotion Detection Edge AI for Diverse Industries

About Us

At MoodMe, we enable developers and organizations to create insights and personalization through Emotion Detection AI—all while prioritizing privacy through edge processing. Our mission is to lead the digital shift toward The Emotion Economy, providing advanced face analytics and elevating experiences from engaging to profoundly insightful.

Our Story

Originating from Luxembourg Technoport, MoodMe has expanded its horizons by joining the prestigious Plug & Play incubation program in Sunnyvale, Silicon Valley, securing seed funding from angel investors across Europe, as well as funding from Qatar Development Bank. MoodMe was one of the first Face AI companies to sell AR face filters before massified by Snapchat with the acquisition of Looksery in 2015. Digging deeper into facial understanding, we expanded into advanced insights such as emotion and demographics detection.

Our international growth has been supported by significant grants from Luxembourg, France, and a substantial Walloon R&D grant through the Win2Wal program in collaboration with the Université de Mons in Belgium. Committed to developing commercial Emotion Detection AI with ethics and privacy, we’ve partnered with Texas A&M University for research cooperation, setting the stage for understanding and enhancing customer experiences.
